The Foundation seeks to inspire and enrich future generations through educational programs, online exhibitions, research, and other means. The Foundation aims to foster a deep appreciation for the artistry and history of musical theatre. To support this mission, the Foundation will meticulously identify, acquire, archive, and safeguard an extensive collection of sheet music, recordings, programs, books, and memorabilia from Broadway musical theatre from approximately 1894 to 1990, as well as valuable materials from earlier and later periods and related venues, ensuring that the rich history of musical theatre will never be forgotten.
